For my November monthly beauty favorites, I will be going over some of my all time favorite products that I brought out again for the approaching winter season. Don’t worry… I also have some new products that I want to share!
I’m excited about this month’s beauty favorites roundup because I have a good mix of both affordable and high end products to talk about. As the season’s getting colder, I also thought November was the perfect time to bring out products that I loved last winter.
If you’re looking to try new products for the wintertime, or just in general, this post will give you a list of great products to try out. These can also work for last-minute gifts, as we are approaching the holidays!
This post goes over my November Monthly Beauty Favorites!

1. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm│$22
Starting off with Summer Friday’s Lip Butter Balm. I first discovered Summer Fridays earlier this year, and as I’ve used more and more of their products, I have grown a huge love for this skincare brand. I purchased this specific product, the Lip Butter Balm, back in September, and never used it until this past month.
As the weather gets colder, it’s normal for your lips to get dryer. That is where this Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm comes to use. You can apply this all day, but I personally love to apply it overnight—as an overnight lip mask. I’ve used this every night for the past month, and I always wake up with soft, plump, and moisturized lips.
It is a thicker consistency, and it can get slightly sticky, which is why I prefer to use it at night time. The packaging shows that this butter balm is a “vanilla” scent, but it smells more like shea butter. Although this is a $22 lip balm, a little goes a long way, so it will last for quite a while. And best of all… it’s vegan and cruelty free!
Overall, I think this is a great lip balm to try out, especially for the colder seasons.
2. Gucci Éclat De Beauté Effet Lumière│$33
Now, this is a new addition to my makeup collection, and needless to say, I am now obsessed with this lip gloss. This Gucci Multi-Use Gel Gloss is an interesting product because it can be used on your face, eyes, and lips. However, I stick to using this on top of my lipstick, and it creates the most beautiful and natural shine on my lips.
When you first touch the product, it can feel sticky, but once you apply it to your lips, the sticky texture completely disappears. I love the finish of this gloss because it gives the illusion of plumper lips. I compare the finish of this gloss to the natural shine you get when you lick your lips.
This lip gloss won’t last on your lips all day, but, I personally like to carry it in my bag so I can touch up throughout the day.
3. Maybelline Fit Me Blush “Plum (#45)”│$5
Maybelline blushes are some of my favorite go-to blushes, and this blush in shade #45 Plum, has been my favorite for the fall/winter time. It has the perfect amount of pigment, and if you have fairer skin, this color is beautiful to get a warm flush of color on your skin.
This blush is a warmer, plum shade, which is why I brought it out again for this season. It complements very well with a bronzy eye look (which is also my go to look for the winter time). It has a matte finish, so I highly recommend these blushes to anyone with textured skin.
4. Tom Ford Cheek Color “Love Lust”│$63
I’ve been eyeing this blush for the LONGEST time, and I finally purchased it in November. It is a pricey blush, but I don’t regret it at all. It’s the most beautiful blush color that I’ve ever come across, and now, I don’t think I can do my makeup without it.
The Tom Ford Cheek Color in “Love Lust” is a peachier toned blush, so it is compatible with any undertone. It gives a natural flush of color to your face, while also giving ur cheeks a radiant finish.
I like to apply this straight across my face to get a glowy, sunkissed look. If you’re willing to splurge on makeup, I highly recommend keeping your eye out for this one!
5. Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder│$6
This is another new purchase for me in November, and I was pleasantly impressed by this product. Personally, I like to opt for pressed powders that provide a tiny bit of coverage because I don’t use full coverage foundations. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless powder does just that, without making your face look cakey.
This powder truly mattifies your face and helps to diminish the look of your pores without sinking into fine lines or scars. I think this will definitely be a powder that I consistently use, and best of all, it’s only $6.
6. Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder│$6
Next up, I want to breifly talk about the Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder because I will be going in depth about it in another post next week!
I believe this is a makeup product that should be in everyone’s makeup collection because it’s so affordable, yet so high quality. First off, this product comes with a lot more powder than other, more expensive, transluscent powders. Secondly, it is finely milled, so it works great for baking or setting your face without getting a cakey finish. I love the airbrush finish I get whenever I use the powder, and you honestly can’t go wrong with it.
7. YSL Tatouage Couture Lip Stain “#31 Let’s Play a Game”│$38
I’ve been in love with this shade recently, and I think it is a beautiful shade for the holiday season.
The YSL Tatouage Couture Lip Stain “#31 Let’s Play a Game” is a beautiful coral-red shade that can be worn casually or formally. I love to lightly blend this all over my lips, and apply a lip gloss on top to get a natural flush of red on my lips.
Although this lip stain does not have the longest staying power, I truly think the color makes up for it. It is very pigmented, but also very blendable, which makes it a very versatile lip stain. This lip stain does retail for $38, but it’s selling out fast, and YSL holds a lot of limited time sales during the holidays, so be on the lookout for that!
8. Chanel Ombre Première Eyeshadow “#840 Patine Bronze”│$36
This Chanel Cream Eyeshadow in the shade “Patine Bronze” has been on my eyes everyday this season. I always go for bronzier eyelooks during the fall and winter time, and this shade is the perfect addition to a bronze look.
For my daily makeup routine, I like to apply this on my lower lash line. However, for a more done-up look, I apply this as base on my eyelid, and then apply a powder eyeshadow on top. I love this cream eyeshadow because it makes the bronze more vibrant and visible.
9. Real Techniques Makeup Brush Set│$19
If you are looking for a face brush set, the Real Techniques Makeup Brush Set is the perfect, affordable, and high quality option. I came across this at the drugstore when I was in desperate need of a new blush brush, and saw this set. I decided to give them a try, and now they have become part of my everyday routine.
The flatter brush works perfectly for contouring and the biggest brush has become my favorite blush brush. I also use the smallest brush to blend out my concealer and the second smallest brush for highlighter.
These makeup brushes are super soft, and unlike other affordable brushes, the bristles don’t fall off easily. All in all, you can’t go wrong with this $20 brush set.
10. Maison Margiela ‘Replica’ By the Fireplace Perfume│$30-130
I want to end my monthly favorites list with my favorite scent for the fall/winter time. This is the ‘Replica’ By the Fireplace perfume, and I can’t say enough good things about this. It is unlike any other perfume I have, but I get the most compliments when I wear this perfume.
It is described to have a spicy and woody scent, but it is not overbearing and has a more subtle scent when on the skin. I recently purchased the candle version of this because I love it so much for the winter season.
Although the full size of this perfume is $130, there is a travel spray version that is $30. One spritz of this goes a LONG way, so you don’t have to worry about using it up quickly.
